Introductory Wine Appreciation
This introductory wine education course
has been designed to give students the basics to further their wine appreciation. This course will introduce students to the different wine regions, grape varieties, and
traditions involved in wine making.
Intermediate Wine Appreciation
This intermediate
wine education course has been designed to give students a deeper look into wine appreciation,
and will introduce students to the comparative analysis of wines made from
the same grapes, but from different countries and regions.
Advanced Wine Appreciation
This advanced wine education course has been designed to give students a deeper look into wine appreciation, and will further exercise students in the methodology of comparative analysis of wines made from the same grapes, but from different countries and regions.
The Vocabulary and Mechanics of Wine Appreciation
This primer wine education course has been designed to give students a closer examination of the vocabulary and mechanics of the critical wine tasting process. Through the use of an important tool, the Wine Aroma Wheel created by A.C. Noble, PhD at the University of California at Davis, we will closely examine wine aromas and tastes and their corresponding descriptions.
